A  Sheridan College 2nd Year Scenic Paint project where students learned to scale up and recreate paintings, in this case from Italian painter Canaletto. For this project a grid system was used to translate details from an 8"x8" printed photo to a 4'x4' board. From there the drawing was "cartooned" with Rosco paint, then shaded with different intensity washes of the same Rosco colour.
